1956 CLASS NEWS
Beth Kassler, wife of Lloyd Kassler, is in Hospice Home Care on Bowman Rd. About six weeks ago she
started having personality changes and some memory loss. Thinking it might be a UTI, she was on antibotics.
Nothing changed so we went to the emergency room at Baptist Hosp. Wednesday, April 9, an MRI and
Catscan showed a Massive Brain Tumor on right front. After consult with Neurosurgeon, they did a Biopsy
on Monday, April 14. Result was Stage Four GLYOBLASTOMA. No cure No Treatment! We came home,
pumped Beth with steriods and had all kids and grandkids on Saturday before Easter. Treated Beth at
home until Tuesday the 22 of April. She is resting comfortably and is waiting the Lords call.
Really fast acting! cancer.

Carol Tucker Foreman spent her birthday in downtown DC marching for housing rights. She doesn't let that walker slow her down at all!

With respect and honor for our classmate Ben McMinn, who passed away on April 26, Men's Lunch is being postponed for one week.
Ben's memorial service is scheduled for the third Thursday in May (May 15) at 10:30 AM at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Little Rock. We
will meet the following Thursday (May 22) for Men's Lunch.

Kay Holloway Day Haslam and her 3 living children. Amazing how much the boys look like Joe Day
and the daughter looks like Kay. Kay still looks the same, too!!!! They all live in Oklahoma where for years
Kay was secretary for Coach Switzer.
