The Little Rock Zoo hosted more than 5,000 people for Ruth the Elephant’s 34th birthday party. A 1,000-pound, 13-tier cake was made for the occasion in 1947.

Earlier this month, Mary Lou Hosack, Dean Stoddard and another friend drove to Texas

for a 24 hour trip to check you our friend, Lynn Hanson.  Friends for life.
