THROW BACK THURSDAY - THE NEW CAROUSEL AT FAIR PARK PLUS CLASS NEWS

Our Classmate, Marcella Rowland, worked tirelessly to raise the funds to revamp the old Fair Park carousel and have it moved into the Little Rock Zoo.  It really is beautiful!  They should have renamed it the Rowland Carousel at Fair Park!  Pat Glasses' children gave her a birthday party at the carousel a few years back.  So much fun to ride it again!  A little harder to get up on those horses, though!

1956 CLASS NEWS

I just received the very sad news that one of our nicest classmates, Don McMullan, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from congenital heart disease at age 85.  He had been in the hospital for two weeks recently with pneumonia.  He had some mini strokes a few years ago that had some lingering effects on this health.  Billy Ison was a good, lifelong friend to Don and brought him to our Class Birthday Party in April. I'll send arrangements as soon as I know them.

Almost forgot to tell everyone.  Joyce Fuller has a new address.  If you need it, let me know.

Yes I can remember all vividly!!! - Bumper Cars, Ferris Wheel, Swimming Pool- especially the pool!!!. Thanks for the photos ML. Nancy (Long) Spence
