Harry Jones Obituary is attached to this email. You should be able to easily open it. I had never seen the picture in his Air Force uniform. How proud he was. One interesting point about his obituary: he wrote it. So if you wonder what was important to him in his life, it's all right there.
Barbara Browne Revis has moved to be hear her son, Houston. Her new address is:

Farris Spann has had a fall, but is doing ok, so he says. He is caregiver for his wife, who will soon turn 90.
I guess Gary Hoffmann was talking back to Annette because he ended up on the floor. He is able to talk,
so I guess all is well.

Regarding your last paragraph from last weeks TBT, if anyone would like to see a person offer a profound apology for their actions on that day, go online and enter the name David Sontag it is worth watching. Also, I would like to insert a tribute to Willie "Billy" Moore, QB for the Arkansas Razorbacks, who passed away last week. Even tho he was a couple of years behind us, he went on to be one of the best quarterbacks the Hogs ever had. Billy at one time lived a block from us, he and I would ride bikes all over the neighborhood and rounding up a couple of more guys, Buck Haley one of them, we would have sandlot football games. Many memories of Billy.

So sorry to hear about Harry. I always enjoyed him. He was funny and fun and really did not know him well til after high school at reunions where he was doing a little bit of everything and always seemed so happy with lots of fun stories especially about classmates and life. BTW, Dr. Wm. A.Snodgrass was Phillip's Father, not grandfather. He and his wife were friends of my parents and was our family doctor. In fact he took my appendix out at age 10. Almost died.

ML - great article on the Meth Child’s Home. I lived just four blocks from the home at 16th and Elm and attended Highland Meth and Lee elementary with many of the home’s residents. Also used to play sandlot baseball on the campus’ open field at 17th and Lewis with some of our resident friends and some neighborhood friends. Fond memories.
I did not know how many of our classmates fathers played key roles in the life of the orphanage before I read this article.
Thanks - Gary Frederick
ML.....Your email was a wonderful history lesson. I had no idea that the Methodist Children's Home has had such a huge impact on our State and also on LRCHS.
Thanks......Hope you are doing well. It's still hurricane season, so as always, one eye on the weather here.
