PLUS CLASS NEWS
Calvin Hanson is very involved with the Quapaw Quarter Association and is active with the Little Rock Visitor Information Center. He has also lived
in the downtown Little Rock area for several years now and loves it. He personally invites those of us still living in the area to attend this very popular
Spring Tour of Homes!
Join us as we celebrate the 60th Diamond Anniversary of the Quapaw Quarter Association’s Spring
Tour of Homes—one of the oldest and most respected historic home tours in the country. This year
marks our biggest tour to date, featuring the largest number of homes ever included, in honor of
six decades of preservation, storytelling, and community pride.
This year’s theme—Art & Architecture—celebrates the creative spirit and design legacy that define
the MacArthur Park Historic District. From handcrafted details to artistic flourishes, you’ll discover
how the visual arts and built environment intersect throughout this extraordinary neighborhood.
Experience the Art & Architecture of Little Rock during the Daytime Tours, held Saturday and Sunday
from 1:00–5:00 p.m. This rare opportunity invites you to step inside some of the city’s most remarkable
private residences and historic landmarks—most of which are not typically open to the public.

1956 CLASS NEWS
Sad news. Everyone's friend, Ben McMinn, is close to drawing his last breath. By Thursday this post may change. Ben has been struggling the
last few years, but would never give up. After years of walking on those crutches, his shoulders finally gave out. But on he went in his scooter.
We will miss Ben. He never let his disabilities get in this way. He was an example to others. He lived life to the fullest.
I am happy to report that Gary Hoffmann has successfully acquired a new knee. He is going through rehab for a week and a half or so which will
give Annette some breathing room. Like all you guys, he put this off as long as he could. He needed a new knee badly and Annette needed some time
off badly! So we're happy for both of them! He has his cell with him if you want to give him a ring.
Congrats to Suzanne Harmon, Bill Harmon's wife, who will be honored in Little Rock Saturday as a 50 year member of her PEO Chapter in Russellville.
Way to go, Suzanne!!!

Bob deBin's grandson is opening a new downtown BBQ place. Let's give it a try!
Adam Murray, co-owner of Back Home BBQ, 801 W. Markham St., told the Arkansas Times that downtown Little Rock’s newest barbecue joint will officially open for
business on Friday at 11 a.m. Starting out, the restaurant's regular business hours will be Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. until sold out. They plan on giving their
staff about a month to get their legs under them before expanding open hours to Thursday through Sunday, Murray said.
